Creative Inc has worked with the Irish Greyhound Board for the last five years on design, brand and advertising projects.
In the last 5 years Creative Inc has worked with the Irish Greyhound Board on design, branding and advertising, helping to grow the business to over 1.2M attendances during the year, €120M spent on the Tote and an industry worth in excess of €280M annually. Having inherited the Irish Greyhound Board logo, Creative Inc reorganised the brand structure and have designed a new consumer identity which is currently being rolled out and which will be supported by a national advertising campaign.
The new consumer mark represents the entertainment aspect of the business, the regulatory side is represented by semi-state body, the Irish Greyhound Board. The mark itself is a silhouette of a greyhound using the six stripes of the industry to contour the body.
A CGI greyhound was created to precisely follow the sinews and muscles of the animal and hundreds of different variations of the dog were tested until we settled on the stance which we felt appropriately conveyed the industry’s central hero.
