Cartoon Saloon commissioned Creative Inc to design a unique typeface for their Oscar nominated animated feature film Song of the Sea, which is being distributed globally. The typeface we created is a condensed hand-drawn face with subtle texture and detailing and is designed to work in English, Irish, French and Danish. We named the new typeface after Saoirse the lead character in the film and customised the typeface Silkie Script as a companion font. The fonts are in use in the film title sequence, credits and promotional material.
